Daichi from Haikyuu!: Fantasy Armor design

Description

We love these, but we haven’t worn them in ages and we need the space. One of my favorite designs, this oil-dark armor is inspired by Haikyuu!’s Karasuno team and features raised 3d crow motifs. The armor pieces are constructed from Worbla-covered foam, with additional Worbla on top for the individually sculpted crows. The chestpiece is very stiff and closes via velcro in the back; each pauldron also attaches to the chestpiece via velcro while the armguards simply flex open where the gap is – they do not have a tight closure.

The cape is detachable with snaps, and is constructed from a poly sateen, with colored felted wool roving at the shoulders. Under the armor is a shirt made from polycotton and layered with a textured open-weave fabric, plus basic pants and layered hip panels constructed from padding and fabric to give an armored effect. Created for size 36-30-36 at 5ft6, with lots of space in the chestpiece.

Shipping: You’re welcome to purchase multiple costumes and items, but if purchasing multiple large costumes, you may want to try placing two different orders. The shopping cart will automatically combine large box sizes instead of splitting it into two, so your shipping will likely be less expensive if ordered separately. Local pickup is available from Boston or from Anime Boston in the spring, since it’s very big and heavy!  If the shipping estimate is too high for you, you can always email or DM us, to see if this can be reduced by splitting into smaller boxes or sending with other carriers.
