We love these, but we haven’t worn them in ages and we need the space. Tsukki is one of my favorite designs, inspired both by Haikyuu’s Karasuno, the team’s crow mascot, and his moon motifs. The armor is constructed from worbla covered foam in an oil-slick color, and is primarily decorated with sandwiched worbla feathers. As a result of the layering, the worbla pieces are extremely stiff and sturdy: the pauldrons do not need to be attached in any way, and instead just balance on the shoulders. The glove contraption comes in two pieces: first is a basic black opera glove with worbla fingerguards glued into place, and the second is the worbla feather wristguard.<\/p>\n
Under the armor is a “dress” made from polycotton and layered with a few items. The top “shirt” portion has one full length sleeve and one short to work with the gauntlet, and is layered with a textured open-weave fabric. A sateen tabard with a bird motif is layered over the skirt portion. Over all of this is a unhemmed gambeson made from individual leather pieces pressed into feather shapes, tacked onto a base fabric layer. Sized for 35-27-40 but with a loose fit all over. I am 5ft 5.5″, but the outfit is proportioned to be worn with 5″-6″ platforms – if you don’t plan to do this or your total height will be less than around 5ft 10 or 11″, the skirt will need to be hemmed shorter and the tabard re-attached higher up. If you want me to do this before shipping, just let me know!<\/p>\n
The shield can be included for free, but it is VERY big and is constructed from thick eva foam and worbla, with a curved PVC pipe embedded for the handle.\u00a0 Shipping is currently calculated for just the cosplay, but if you want the prop too, just let me know and I can estimate the additional shipping!<\/p>\n
Please note: the wristguards will probably be too tight on most people; I have really small wrists. If they are too small, I would suggest cutting away additional worbla at the gap opening, to give yourself more space. You will need a dremel or something like tin snips to do this: the Worbla is very thick.<\/p>\n
Damages: Frankly, none that I can find. This costume is stiff and sturdy, and can take a beating.<\/p>\n
Shipping: You’re welcome to purchase multiple costumes and items, but if purchasing multiple large costumes, you may want to try placing two different orders. The shopping cart will automatically combine large box sizes instead of splitting it into two, so your shipping will likely be less expensive if ordered separately.
